Who doesn’t recognize Mr. Bean? Since 1990, he has been blessing our television with his physical humor and unusual tactics when solving mundane problems. The iconic character, played by Rowan Atkinson, is the reincarnation of silent films mixed with a modern touch.
According to the Rowan Atkinson, he developed the character of Mr. Bean ten years earlier from its debut. While he was studying for his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering at Oxford, he was asked to do a sketch in a one-night show at the Oxford Playhouse.
“I’m not really naturally a writer, so I just had to invent sort of 5 minutes of something at 48 hours’ notice. I just stood in front of the mirror and started to mess about with my face. And this strange, surreal, sort of non-speaking character evolved,” says Atkinson.
Then, the character of Mr. Bean was born and the rest was history.
As a tribute to the beloved character, fans had gathered to photoshop Mr. Bean to different iconic pictures and movie characters, and the results are absolutely hilarious! Be warned, though. After looking at the pictures, you would never see them the same way again!
