In fact, if you consume a certain amount of these items, it could be fatal.  Well, we have no idea why anyone would actually go to these extremes, but better be warned than sorry.

Take note that different body weight, metabolic rate and built are great factors that could determine how grave an overdose can be.

Thus, eating 214 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, 132 Fun Size Snickers or 86 fun size packages of M&M’s can kill you.

SALT

Salt is actually a vital mineral for human survival. Sodium regulates blood flow and pressure and helps transmit messages between nerves and muscle fibers. However, when you have too much sodium in your system, your body holds extra water. Salt overdose can lead to edema then high blood pressure. Approximately 48 teaspoons of common table salt can be fatal.

WATER

Many health buffs recommend drinking lots of water to stay healthy, but do you know drinking too much can actually kill you? Drinking extreme amounts of water in a short time can make the level of salt or sodium in your blood to drop. Around 5 liters of water for a 150-pound person in a span of two to three hours can be deadly. Surprisingly, water intoxication happens quite a lot.

COFFEE

Coffee is such an addicting treat for adults that they often consume more than two cups a day. We usually get the ‘kick’ we needed from caffeine, which in high doses can lead to dizziness, increased thirst and diarrhea. It takes approximately 100 coffee cups (250 ml) to overdose on caffeine, but take note that some types of coffee such as espressos can have more caffeine than others. Also, some sodas and energy drinks are loaded with caffeine, so better not take the risk.

Apple seeds contain cyanide, a very lethal poison. If you gather seeds from 18 apples, thoroughly grind and consume them, there is chance you will die of poisoning. However, if you eat whole apple seeds, the seed’s hard coating will prevent the cyanide from being absorbed in your system. Whatever the case, it would be better to leave out the apple’s core and lessen the risks.

CHOCOLATE

Who can resist chocolate? It is the comfort food of many people. However, chocolates contain a small amount of Theobromine, a powerful alkaloid agent. Theobromine poisoning can cause heart failure, seizures, acute kidney damage and dehydration. 40 bars of Dairy Milk can be a lethal dosage, if sugar overdose do not kill you first.
