Perhaps this MMA fighter had not heard the story as a young child. His overconfidence did not just make him lose the fight, but also did in the most humiliating way.
The epic fall from a self-made grace happened in Colchester, Essex, England during a fight between Joe ‘Nitro’ Harding and Johan ‘The Silence’ Segas. The two were fighting for the interim featherweight title.

During their third and last round, Harding became too cocky and decided to sport some dance moves on the ring. It might be his strategy to mess with Segas head. Pretty bad tactic really, as the other fighter saw it as an opportunity to land a high-kick on his jaw, knocking him out cold. He had to be given extensive medical checks in the cage. Lucky for him, he was able to get out of the ring on his own two feet, but not without a red face.

You think Harding would let it go easily? Apparently, even after his humiliating defeat, he still had one more trick on his sleeve: calling out the cheat card. Joe Harding took to Twitter an ‘attempt’ to save his face by accusing his competitor of cheating by being on steroids- this even if Segas was cleared after a mandatory medical exam before the fight.

Unfortunately for Harding, netizens were quick to point out how much of a sore loser he was. So instead of gaining sympathy or saving his pride, he brought it down even further.
